Its been a while since Ive done a blog so here it is. Had Rebecca and Simon down to my humble abode last weekend andit was quiet eventful. Charlotte was pleasedSimon was here as they are officially a couple now and me and Rebecca just chilled out friday night after a nice meal then had a few drinkies. Saturday morning consisted of croissants and pan au chocolat lovely coffee made by Rebecca in her unique little esspresso maker, then dressed and ready to excercise on the ice.......Simon was showing us his skills on the ice and Charlotte was good too. Me, Rebecca and Alyssia made a wobbly start but made good speed after a while till the inevitable happended!!! Rebecca fell first bruised her butt, thigh and hip then I took a nose dive backwards bruising my elbow, then Alyssia fell. We were all ok tho ego's a little crushed but we skated on.
After that we relaxed in Costa's coffee shop drinking ..............you guessed COFFEE and eating various delectable bits, then went off to HMV to purchase the latest sing stars for our planned saturday night event.
A nice hot buffett for tea then the games started well drinks of black russians chat then more nibbles. After midnight we decided to have a singing comp. sing stars went on and Simon and Charlotte had a good old laugh at me and Rebecca belting out songs like Crazy Chick and I will Survive....... all of a sudden it was 3.30 a.m. and to bedfordshire we trotted.
Rebecca made us coffee in the morning around 10 and we sat on the bed in our jarmies chatting then swapping make-up tips and ideas. I then cooked brunch and we were then stuffed and sat on the sofas nodding offor watching tv or chatting again. It has been a jam packed weekend and we are all shattered Bruised and bewildered.
When will be the next event I wonder.
We had a fun girly time and thank you for a fanatastic mixed grill, the bacon was especially tasty, I couldn't stop eating it.
