This weekend made an unplanned trip back home as dad has deteriorated. I went straight to his nursing home to see him yesterday. He looked quite frail but he smiled when he saw us even tho he doesnt know who we are. His face lit up when he saw Charlotte and Alyssia and he couldnt take his eyes off them. This trip has been the best for Alyssia as she didnt seem nervous to be around him this time. She held his hand and stroked his arm which for me was so lovely to see as sometimes she hides.
He was really calm and listened to everything we said to him which was nice.
Jason came with me and the girls this morning to see him and we sat and held hands chatted and laughed and also talked with Edwin his carer. I stayed at Jasons last night and it was lovely to see my lovely adopted bezzie mates Rebecca and Ian. We chatted, giggled, discussed issues which were sometimes serious and not. It was nice to have some kind of normality happening after a stressful day. Back in July to see my family and R and I. Cant wait.
It was lovely to see you all and it cheered my day up too x

hey honey great to see you both. what a laugh july will be good and august at the cottage will be a hoot. and then there is the concert oh my lord how much fun can we have xxxx
